When to book a technician visit

  1. 1

AC that no longer cools properly

The unit runs but the air is barely cool, you hear knocking from the indoor head, or you find water on the wall. The technician brings pressure gauges and electrical test tools and finds the cause before starting any repair.

  2. 2

A fridge or cold room in your shop

The fridge does not hold temperature, or the compressor runs without cycling off. Stock loss starts before you notice the fault. The technician comes to your shop, checks the circuit and tells you the real condition of the unit.

  3. 3

A sudden fault with no obvious cause

The AC trips the breaker, runs without cooling, or gives off a smell. These symptoms can have different causes. The technician checks the board, compressor, capacitor and coil in the right order and explains what he finds.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp the unit type and what you are seeing, such as a noise, no cooling or water, and your district, and we arrange the visit.

  2. 2

    On-site inspection

The technician arrives with pressure gauges and electrical test tools, inspects the unit in the correct sequence in front of you and does not start any work until the inspection is complete.

  3. 3

    Explain and agree next step

After the inspection the technician explains the real cause and what the repair needs, then starts work only after you agree on what will be done.

  4. 4

    Repair and run test

The technician carries out the agreed repair and runs the unit in front of you to confirm the fault is cleared and the unit is working properly before he leaves.

What sets this district apart

Al Nuzha is a mixed central district combining old and new villas, residential blocks and private gardens with shops, clinics and offices on ground floors, facing high coastal humidity and direct sea proximity. This mix of uses and high humidity demands precise checks on condensers, fans, pipes and drain lines, and regular maintenance to prevent dust and mould buildup. Visits focus on fighting humidity and salt effects on systems and ensuring drain lines run smoothly.

Al Nuzha lies in central Jeddah, a mixed residential and commercial district close to the coast with high humidity and direct sea air exposure.

Systems here range from split to central, outdoor units are heavily exposed to humidity and salt, and need closer inspection cycles to prevent condenser rust and corrosion.

FAQ

Questions about HVAC & refrigeration technician

What does the technician bring on the visit?

The technician brings pressure gauges to check the refrigeration cycle, electrical meters to test the capacitor, relay and control board, and leak detection and flare joint tools. The exact kit depends on the fault description you give when you book.

Can the technician check the AC and the fridge in the same visit?

Yes. The technician covers both air conditioning and refrigeration, so if you have a faulty AC and a commercial fridge or cold unit at the same location he inspects both in one visit and explains the condition of each separately before any repair begins.

How does the technician explain the fault before any work begins?

The technician diagnoses the fault first, whether a failing capacitor, a deteriorated flare joint or a blocked drain line, then tells you what he found, what work is needed and which parts must be replaced. No work starts until you have approved what he has explained.

What happens if the repair needs a spare part?

After the inspection the technician names the part needed and explains why. If the part is available on site the repair is done in the same visit. If it has to be sourced first, he agrees a second visit with you. No replacement is started without your knowledge of what will be done.

Is the inspection for a split unit different from a ducted or cassette unit?

Yes. A split unit gives direct access to the coil, filter and flare joint. A ducted or cassette unit also needs the plenum, dampers and duct runs checked to confirm air is distributed correctly. The technician decides the inspection method after seeing the unit type and installation at your site.

Does coastal humidity and salt in the air speed up outdoor unit damage?

Yes, salt and high humidity cause rapid rust and corrosion on the condenser, pipes and base. We check units every two months and rinse the condenser with fresh water to remove salt buildup.

A commercial shop below my flat, does outside humidity affect my AC?

High outside humidity affects all units equally. We ensure pipes and filters are sealed and drain lines are sound so water does not leak.

Does salt quickly damage the copper pipes in the outdoor unit?

Yes, copper corrodes quickly in salty air. We regularly inspect pipes for corrosion marks and tiny holes.

Water pools from the AC drain in winter, is this a concern?

Water pooling causes dampness and mould. We check the drain line is clean and properly connected, and clean it regularly.
