When to book a technician visit

  1. 1

AC that no longer cools properly

The unit runs but the air is barely cool, you hear knocking from the indoor head, or you find water on the wall. The technician brings pressure gauges and electrical test tools and finds the cause before starting any repair.

  2. 2

A fridge or cold room in your shop

The fridge does not hold temperature, or the compressor runs without cycling off. Stock loss starts before you notice the fault. The technician comes to your shop, checks the circuit and tells you the real condition of the unit.

  3. 3

A sudden fault with no obvious cause

The AC trips the breaker, runs without cooling, or gives off a smell. These symptoms can have different causes. The technician checks the board, compressor, capacitor and coil in the right order and explains what he finds.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp the unit type and what you are seeing, such as a noise, no cooling or water, and your district, and we arrange the visit.

  2. 2

    On-site inspection

The technician arrives with pressure gauges and electrical test tools, inspects the unit in the correct sequence in front of you and does not start any work until the inspection is complete.

  3. 3

    Explain and agree next step

After the inspection the technician explains the real cause and what the repair needs, then starts work only after you agree on what will be done.

  4. 4

    Repair and run test

The technician carries out the agreed repair and runs the unit in front of you to confirm the fault is cleared and the unit is working properly before he leaves.

What sets this district apart

Al Rawabi is a modern residential district with spacious villas and flats in relatively tall buildings, with orderly streets and easy access. The high heat and humidity of south Jeddah put heavy stress on cooling systems, especially villas running multiple split units or central AC. Quick diagnosis here requires close inspection of compressor performance, refrigerant levels and the condenser, because intense heat can overload the system.

Al Rawabi lies in south Jeddah, a modern residential district with spacious villas and tall apartment blocks on orderly streets.

Al Rawabi villas and flats mainly rely on multiple split systems or central AC because of their large floor areas.

The AC setup in Al Rawabi

  1. 1

Multi-unit split with a single outdoor unit

Most Al Rawabi villas use a single split system with one outdoor unit and multiple indoor units spread across floors.

  2. 2

Full central AC systems with complete ductwork

Larger flats and villas use a full central system pushing cool air through metal ducts to every room.

  3. 3

Outdoor units in gardens and on roofs

Outdoor units sit on villa roofs or in private gardens, requiring regular checks as sun and humidity affect their performance.

FAQ

Questions about HVAC & refrigeration technician

What does the technician bring on the visit?

The technician brings pressure gauges to check the refrigeration cycle, electrical meters to test the capacitor, relay and control board, and leak detection and flare joint tools. The exact kit depends on the fault description you give when you book.

Can the technician check the AC and the fridge in the same visit?

Yes. The technician covers both air conditioning and refrigeration, so if you have a faulty AC and a commercial fridge or cold unit at the same location he inspects both in one visit and explains the condition of each separately before any repair begins.

How does the technician explain the fault before any work begins?

The technician diagnoses the fault first, whether a failing capacitor, a deteriorated flare joint or a blocked drain line, then tells you what he found, what work is needed and which parts must be replaced. No work starts until you have approved what he has explained.

What happens if the repair needs a spare part?

After the inspection the technician names the part needed and explains why. If the part is available on site the repair is done in the same visit. If it has to be sourced first, he agrees a second visit with you. No replacement is started without your knowledge of what will be done.

Is the inspection for a split unit different from a ducted or cassette unit?

Yes. A split unit gives direct access to the coil, filter and flare joint. A ducted or cassette unit also needs the plenum, dampers and duct runs checked to confirm air is distributed correctly. The technician decides the inspection method after seeing the unit type and installation at your site.

The AC runs but cold air does not reach all rooms, what is wrong?

It could be blocked ducts, an air leak, or a fault in one of the indoor units, and we inspect the whole system to pinpoint exactly where the problem is.

Humidity is high in south Jeddah, does it affect the AC?

Yes, high humidity increases the cooling load on the system and speeds mould growth in the ducts and drain lines, which is why we recommend regular inspection and cleaning.

My outdoor unit is in the garden, how does the sun affect it?

Direct sun raises the unit's temperature and reduces cooling efficiency, so we check the condenser is well ventilated and not clogged with dust or leaves.

The central AC filter clogs quickly, is that normal?

In Al Rawabi where dust and humidity are high, the filter clogs faster, so we recommend checking it every month or two and changing it before it affects airflow and the compressor.
