When to book a technician visit
- 1
AC that no longer cools properly
The unit runs but the air is barely cool, you hear knocking from the indoor head, or you find water on the wall. The technician brings pressure gauges and electrical test tools and finds the cause before starting any repair.
- 2
A fridge or cold room in your shop
The fridge does not hold temperature, or the compressor runs without cycling off. Stock loss starts before you notice the fault. The technician comes to your shop, checks the circuit and tells you the real condition of the unit.
- 3
A sudden fault with no obvious cause
The AC trips the breaker, runs without cooling, or gives off a smell. These symptoms can have different causes. The technician checks the board, compressor, capacitor and coil in the right order and explains what he finds.

What sets this district apart
Al Ruhaili is a relatively modern residential area combining medium-sized detached villas and multi-storey residential blocks with regular streets and good parking. Most villas have central AC systems or multiple split groups because spaces are relatively larger, while flats have split or window units. Access to homes and flats is relatively straightforward due to street planning, though large villas with complex layouts may present minor obstacles.
Al Ruhaili is in north-east Jeddah, a mixed modern residential area of medium villas and multi-storey blocks with regular planning.
Villas in Al Ruhaili usually have central AC systems or multiple split groups, while flats rely on separate split units or windows on balconies.
The AC setup in Al Ruhaili
- 1
Central AC in medium-sized villas
Medium villas in Al Ruhaili rely on one central system distributed through ducts in walls and ceilings to multiple rooms and halls.
- 2
Multiple split groups in large villas and blocks
Large villas and residential blocks may have separate split groups per floor or wing, with outdoor units on roofs or high walls.
- 3
Window units in some smaller or extra flats
Smaller added flats or some rental units may use simple window units to save costs.

FAQ
Questions about HVAC & refrigeration technician
What does the technician bring on the visit?
The technician brings pressure gauges to check the refrigeration cycle, electrical meters to test the capacitor, relay and control board, and leak detection and flare joint tools. The exact kit depends on the fault description you give when you book.
Can the technician check the AC and the fridge in the same visit?
Yes. The technician covers both air conditioning and refrigeration, so if you have a faulty AC and a commercial fridge or cold unit at the same location he inspects both in one visit and explains the condition of each separately before any repair begins.
How does the technician explain the fault before any work begins?
The technician diagnoses the fault first, whether a failing capacitor, a deteriorated flare joint or a blocked drain line, then tells you what he found, what work is needed and which parts must be replaced. No work starts until you have approved what he has explained.
What happens if the repair needs a spare part?
After the inspection the technician names the part needed and explains why. If the part is available on site the repair is done in the same visit. If it has to be sourced first, he agrees a second visit with you. No replacement is started without your knowledge of what will be done.
Is the inspection for a split unit different from a ducted or cassette unit?
Yes. A split unit gives direct access to the coil, filter and flare joint. A ducted or cassette unit also needs the plenum, dampers and duct runs checked to confirm air is distributed correctly. The technician decides the inspection method after seeing the unit type and installation at your site.
My medium villa, does it need central AC or multiple splits?
Central AC is better for medium villas if the structure allows for ducts. Our technicians inspect the space and ceilings and recommend the best system after the visit.
Multiple outdoor units are on my roof, how do you manage maintenance?
We inspect and service each unit separately on an individual schedule. Ensure the roof is safe and units are well secured before the visit.
Extreme heat in the north-east affects my AC efficiency, is this normal?
Yes, high temperatures and direct sun on outdoor units reduce efficiency slightly. Shade and regular filter cleaning improve performance.
Expanding my home added new rooms, is the current system sufficient?
It may not be. Our technicians measure the new space and assess the current system's capacity, and may recommend adding units or upgrading.
