Precision-made ductwork
AC duct manufacturing in Al Rimal
In Al Rimal, south Jeddah, modern villas and high-rise apartment blocks rely on central AC with insulated metal ducts; site-cut ducts leak and trap moisture. Alrabih manufactures all ducts and plenums in-workshop to your exact project dimensions, seals and fully insulates them before delivery.

When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Rimal is a modern, varied district with large villas and tall apartment towers with regular urban spacing, where every building relies on advanced central AC systems. Coastal heat and high humidity mean any duct leak causes efficiency loss and rapid insulation and metal wear. Workshop-made ducts cut to exact dimensions and fully sealed cut heat loss, preserve cold-air quality and extend system life.
Al Rimal, in south Jeddah, is a modern, varied district of luxury villas and tall residential towers with contemporary urban planning.
Most villas and high-rise blocks here need complex central duct systems with multiple sections and distribution plenums owing to the number of units and spaces.
The AC setup in Al Rimal
- 1
Complex multi-section ducts for tall towers
Tall residential towers need complex ducts with many sections and horizontal and vertical branches for each floor and space.
- 2
Advanced distribution plenums per floor or unit
Each floor or large unit needs a separate distribution plenum to balance pressure and ensure even distribution.
- 3
High-density insulation and moisture and rust protection
Thick internal insulation and robust exterior wrap protect metal ducts from rust and corrosion caused by high humidity.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Rimal
- 1
Provide the complete engineering plan
Send complete engineering drawings showing the central unit location and all duct and plenum routes before the visit.
- 2
Confirm roof and plenum space availability
Ensure roofs and inter-floor plenum spaces are large enough for easy transport and installation of numbered sections.
- 3
Coordinate with building management
If it is a tall building, coordinate with building management about roof and plenum access times and logistics before the visit.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Do workshop ducts deliver higher efficiency than site-cut ones?
Yes, significantly. Site-cut ducts leak cold air through gaps and cracks. Workshop-made sealed ducts maintain pressure and efficiency far more effectively.
Does duct insulation protect against coastal humidity?
Yes, thick internal insulation prevents moisture condensation on the metal surface. Strong exterior wrap protects against external humidity, rust and corrosion.
How many numbered sections does a villa or tall building need?
It depends on duct length, number of rooms and floors. We take full project measurements and design sections so they transport and install easily without further site cutting.
Do you oversee connecting the ducts to the central unit?
Yes, we oversee installation, connection and final sealing of all gaps and joints, and test pressure before system startup.
