When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Rughamah is a developed district with modern housing, small clinics, hospitals and commercial centres. These medium to large modern buildings need uniform ducts with precise dimensions planned from the start. Medical projects particularly demand high accuracy since any cold leak or condensation can affect humidity control and hygiene standards. Precision manufacturing ensures clean, numbered sections that install easily and deliver reliable performance.

Al Rughamah sits in east Jeddah, a district of modern housing, medical facilities and developed commercial spaces.

Most residential units and medical projects here use central air-handling ducts with standardised sections feeding units with precise thermostatic controls.

The AC setup in Al Rughamah (Abraq Al Rughamah)

  1. 1

Unified supply ducts for multiple residential units

Al Rughamah projects need large main supply ducts distributing cold air evenly across adjacent residential units.

  2. 2

Return ducts feeding back to the air-handling unit

Return sections arrive equally insulated to prevent heat absorption from walls along the entire path back to the unit.

  3. 3

Fully insulated branches for individual rooms

Each bedroom or living room connects via a fully insulated branch piece, reducing noise and protecting from condensation.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Rughamah (Abraq Al Rughamah)

  1. 1

Gather detailed drawings for each residential or medical project

Send detailed HVAC drawings showing every duct diameter, length, angle and connection point before we start manufacturing.

  2. 2

Coordinate delivery dates with the build schedule

Ensure delivery dates align with site readiness for installation, avoiding long waits or delays to later work.

  3. 3

Verify safe storage and mounting space

Check that the site has a safe, dry area to store numbered sections before they are mounted on ceilings and interior walls.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

For hospitals and clinics, do ducts meet hygiene and sterilisation standards?

We manufacture ducts with precision and tight sealing to prevent dust and contamination entry. Inner linings use low-particulate materials, and every section is inspected before delivery.

Al Rughamah is sun-exposed; does insulation protect from the hot environment?

Yes, full insulation on all surfaces protects from external heat transfer and stops condensation even in high heat and humidity.

Do you support future modifications and project expansions?

We design sections so additional branches can be added later, and coordinate with the project supervisor on connection points for future extensions.

How do you handle raw materials and production in a confined workshop?

Our workshop has advanced cutting and sealing equipment, and we manage materials and finished sections efficiently for quick delivery without delays.
