When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Salamah is a fast-growing district with new villas and modern apartment blocks needing complex central AC systems spread across multiple floors and wide spaces. Workshop-made ducts give precise control over dimensions and full Foster sealing, which is essential because Jeddah's high humidity causes leaks and mould at any joint gap. Numbered sections speed up on-site installation without remeasuring.
Al Salamah sits in west Jeddah, a district of new villas and modern apartment blocks with wide spaces and contemporary architectural design.
Most of the new villas and blocks here use high-specification central duct systems because the larger footprints cannot be served by separate splits.
The AC setup in Al Salamah
- 1
Multi-storey central duct system
Modern villas and blocks in Al Salamah need main and branch trunks stretching vertically and horizontally across multiple floors.
- 2
Insulated condensation drainage
Made ducts include sealed insulated drains to collect and direct condensation away from ceilings and interior walls.
- 3
Numbered sections ready to install
Each section is labelled and hung directly on site with no remeasuring or cutting, shortening installation time.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Salamah
- 1
Send project drawings and dimensions ahead
We need clear photos of floor plans and heights of the central plant room or roof space before manufacturing starts.
- 2
Confirm storage space for the ducts on site
Numbered sections need a dry, secure storage area on site before final installation.
- 3
Ensure the installation team can reach the building entry and roof
Large ducts need a clear path from the gate to inside and safe access to the roof or upper architectural voids.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
How do you prevent cold air leaking from the ducts?
Each duct is cut precisely to project dimensions in the workshop, sealed at every joint with Foster instead of tape, and fully insulated before delivery.
Do prefabricated ducts save time on site?
Yes, numbered sections hang straight away, cutting installation days and eliminating manual on-site measuring that delays progress.
Jeddah's humidity breeds mould in older ducts, is a freshly made one better?
Fully Foster-sealed and insulated ducts prevent moisture condensation on the inner surface because of the airspace between layers.
How is the outdoor unit positioned with a central duct system in new villas?
The outdoor unit is usually mounted on the roof or rear garden, with the main trunk running from it through the interior space or pre-set architectural voids.
