When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?

| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Ta'awun is a dense residential district marked by modern apartment blocks and medium-scale housing projects, most planned from construction for central air. Yet contractors often cut ducts on site with a knife under time pressure, leaving gaps and cold-air leakage and moisture condensation. Pre-manufacturing in the workshop ensures dimension accuracy, Foster sealing on every joint, and complete insulation.
Al Ta'awun lies south of Jeddah and is marked by a high concentration of modern apartment blocks and medium housing projects.
Most buildings here are planned for one central heating and cooling unit serving multiple flats, requiring a unified and airtight duct network.
The AC setup in Al Ta'awun
- 1
Central duct system for a complete residential building
Modern apartment buildings here need a unified duct network from a single central unit distributing cold air equally to all flats without leakage.
- 2
Separate duct branches for different wings of the same project
Large housing projects divide buildings into separate wings, each requiring its own duct network manufactured to different dimensions based on wing size.
- 3
Ducts for shared facilities and lobby areas
Lobbies and shared facilities like gyms, receptions and courtyards need separate duct systems distinct from the flat network.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Ta'awun
- 1
Get complete, up-to-date architectural drawings
Ensure the contractor has the latest architectural and AC layout drawings so our team can calculate duct lengths and widths precisely.
- 2
Complete structural work and main construction
Ducts are manufactured after the building's main structural work is complete, since any construction changes affect duct dimensions.
- 3
Confirm the central unit location and main runs
Confirm the central unit location (roof or plant room) and main duct routes (suspended ceilings or hollow walls) to set the correct dimensions.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Our housing project is still under construction, can ducts be made now?
Yes, and this is the ideal time. We work with the contractor and engineer to finalise dimensions, then manufacture the ducts in our workshop before construction is complete.
Flats here are close together with limited space between them, do ducts fit tight passages?
Yes, we make ducts to dimensions that fit the available spaces exactly, whether in suspended ceilings or hollow walls, with no cutting or adjustment needed on site.
Jeddah's weather is hot and humid, is insulation enough to prevent condensation on the ducts?
Full insulation on all duct surfaces significantly reduces condensation. Additionally, tight sealing with Foster sealant prevents moisture entering from outside.
The central unit is on the roof, how are ducts run through the building without delaying handover?
We manufacture ducts in the workshop ahead of handover, deliver them numbered and ready for quick installation on metal brackets, so the project schedule is not delayed.
