Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Hafnah is an industrial district with large factories and warehouses and simple apartment blocks, where industrial and warehouse buildings need powerful and efficient AC systems for vast areas and high ceilings. Duct here must withstand high static pressure and cover huge spans efficiently; measuring it precisely on site and fabricating in the workshop with heavy-gauge galvanised or aluminium ensures long-term stability and zero leakage even under high pressure.

Al Hafnah lies in east Jeddah and holds large factories and warehouses alongside simple apartment blocks.

Most warehouses and factories here need large-diameter round duct to cover vast areas and high ceilings.

The AC setup in Al Hafnah

  1. 1

    Large-diameter round duct

Most warehouses and factories need large-diameter round duct (usually 600 mm or more) to cover vast areas efficiently.

  2. 2

Heavy-gauge galvanising for pressure and dust

Heavy-gauge galvanised duct withstands high pressure and industrial dust, lasting long in harsh warehouse environments.

  3. 3

    Strong joints and metal supports

Long, heavy duct needs strong metal supports and high-standard sealed joints ensuring stability under heavy load.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Hafnah

  1. 1

    Obtain complete site drawings

Send us complete architectural drawings of the warehouse or factory showing ceilings, columns and existing lines (electrical, plumbing, other pipes).

  2. 2

    Confirm access and lifting capability

Check that the entrance allows long duct sections to enter, and lifting equipment is available (forklift, overhead crane) to hoist duct to high elevations.

  3. 3

    Define attachment and support points

Identify with our team where duct support brackets attach to steel frames or ceilings, and confirm ceilings can carry the added load.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Warehouses need strong cooling, does duct withstand high pressure?

We fabricate heavy-gauge galvanised or strong aluminium duct withstanding high pressure, with tight seals ensuring zero leakage under heavy load.

Factories have very high ceilings, how does duct reach that height?

We fabricate long cylindrical duct sections reducing joints, and lifting equipment is used for installation. The duct is supported by strong steel frameworks.

Dust and heat in factories might affect duct, can you add extra insulation?

We can fabricate duct with external insulation if needed to reduce heat loss and preserve cool air, or use heavy-gauge galvanising to withstand heavy dust.

Warehouses run long hours, does duct withstand continuous operation?

Yes, heavy-gauge galvanised duct is designed for continuous operation with a long lifespan. We use high-standard joints and strong supports to ensure no vibration or distortion.
