Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Mulaisa is a modern southern district of hotel towers, high-rise apartments, and numerous medical and commercial buildings. These large projects often need complex central AC runs crossing multiple floors and false ceilings, and on-site duct cutting cannot deliver the precision needed for intricate fittings and elbows. Our workshop fabrication ensures each piece arrives ready to hang with no gaps or misalignment at the joints.

Al Mulaisa is in south Jeddah, a district of modern high-rise projects, apartment towers and major hotels.

Most new projects in Al Mulaisa rely on central galvanized or aluminium duct to distribute air across multiple floors.

The AC setup in Al Mulaisa

  1. 1

    Rectangular duct for major projects

Hotel and high-rise residential projects in Al Mulaisa need rectangular duct that runs through false ceilings and tight passages between floors.

  2. 2

    Complex transitions and elbows

The duct includes complex elbows and transitions to connect the central delivery units to air outlets in remote wings and floors.

  3. 3

Galvanized or aluminium sheet by location

We choose the material based on the project type and exposure to coastal humidity and intense southern heat.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Mulaisa

  1. 1

Send the drawings or site measurements

Before we start fabrication, send us the project drawings or the duct dimensions required by the installation team or consulting engineer.

  2. 2

    Confirm delivery point and timing

Coordinate with site management on the nearest safe delivery point and earliest pickup time, since the duct cannot be stored long.

  3. 3

Ensure the receiving team is available

Make sure the installation team will be available when the duct arrives, since prompt follow-up prevents delays in the project schedule.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you fabricate central duct for hotel towers or hospitals?

Yes, we fabricate rectangular and round duct with complex elbows and transitions for major projects. We take site measurements or work from drawings and deliver the duct ready to hang.

Access to the project roof is tight, does that affect delivery?

We fabricate the duct in our workshop away from the site, so we deliver it to the team at the project entrance or main gate. Confirming the delivery point with the site management before fabrication smooths the process.

Coastal humidity and heat exposure affect the duct material choice?

We use galvanized steel or aluminium depending on the project requirements and environment. Galvanized sheet resists coastal humidity better for long-term projects.

Does the fabricated duct need adjustment when hanging it?

No, we fabricate every piece to precise site measurements. The duct arrives ready to install without modifications, saving time and errors on site.
