Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

Don't see your district?Message us. We most likely cover it.

What sets this district apart

Al Nuzha is a relatively older central Jeddah district mixing older villas, residential blocks and small shops, with narrower streets than the northern areas. AC and ventilation projects in these varied buildings need duct fitting tight spaces and lower ceilings in places. Workshop fabrication allows precise cuts for each case, saving space and speeding installation without extensive on-site adjustments.

Al Nuzha is in central Jeddah, an older district with a mix of villas, residential blocks, shops and narrower streets.

Most buildings in Al Nuzha were not originally designed for central AC, so duct installation needs flexible sizing and custom dimensions.

The AC setup in Al Nuzha

  1. 1

Compact flexible duct for limited spaces

Old flats and villas in Al Nuzha need compact duct that passes through tight spaces, which we produce in modified dimensions.

  2. 2

Thin rectangular duct for low ceilings

When ceilings are low, we fabricate thin rectangular duct that passes between beams and obstacles easily.

  3. 3

    Humidity-enhanced G90 galvanised sheet

Older humid areas need specially treated G90 galvanised sheet that withstands high humidity and mould growth.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Nuzha

  1. 1

Clear photos of the flat or shop layout

Send photos showing ceiling heights, wall positions and obstacles to help us calculate duct dimensions.

  2. 2

Identify nearest parking and entry route

On narrow streets, tell us the nearest parking point and easiest entry route to the flat or shop.

  3. 3

Confirm access to the outdoor unit

If the outdoor unit is on a balcony or facade, confirm it can be easily accessed to install the connecting duct.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

My old flat has low ceilings, how do you run the duct?

We measure ceiling height and available clearances, then fabricate duct in fitting dimensions to pass through obstacles without taking up much space.

The streets here are narrow and parking is difficult, how do you bring equipment in?

Our team carries fabricated pieces by hand from the nearest parking, and workshop-made duct is relatively light so it is easy to transport.

Old areas have high humidity, does the duct get affected?

We use strong G90 galvanised sheet that resists humidity and rust, and workshop fabrication allows us to seal all joints and openings tightly.

My shop has irregular ceilings, can the duct fit them?

Yes, we fabricate custom bends and transitions to match the actual ceiling shape, each piece tailored to precise measurements.
