Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Rahmah contains specialist clinics, dental surgeries and a small health centre, all requiring strict control of air quality and temperature for health reasons. Duct fabricated to very high precision with sealed joints is essential to minimise contaminated-air leakage and ensure uniform, clean air distribution. In Al Rahmah's hot, humid climate, internally protected duct prevents moisture and dust ingress that could compromise patient safety and medical equipment.

Al Rahmah lies in south Jeddah, a district of specialist clinics and small health centres with high standards for air-quality monitoring.

Medical facilities in Al Rahmah require duct to very high specifications and tight joints to ensure no contaminants enter sensitive areas.

The AC setup in Al Rahmah

  1. 1

    Sealed duct to medical specifications

The duct is fabricated with very tight joints and an internal protective layer to ensure no contaminated air leaks into sensitive areas.

  2. 2

    Medium diameters with precise distribution

Clinics do not need large diameters but require precise distribution of clean air across treatment and reception rooms.

  3. 3

    Metal with moisture-resistant protective layer

We use metals with a special internal protective layer that prevents moisture and mould accumulation in the hot, humid climate.

Before the visit

    Provide complete medical facility plans

Send the complete facility plans via WhatsApp, including treatment room locations, outlet points and the main entrance.

  2. 2

    Confirm access to sensitive areas

Confirm access to treatment rooms, sterilisation areas and medical storage before the visit so we ensure precise installation.

  3. 3

    Coordinate with health facility management

Inform clinic or hospital management of the visit and measurements in advance to avoid disrupting medical services during the work.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

My clinic needs uniform clean air, does fabricated duct provide this?

Yes, duct fabricated to very high precision with tight joints minimises contaminated-air leakage and ensures uniform clean air distribution across all clinic rooms.

The clinic's entrance is narrow, can you deliver the duct easily?

We fabricate the duct in assembly-ready sections so it fits through the narrow entrance, then assemble it on site to exact specifications with no air loss.

Humidity and heat affect patient safety, does the duct protect against this?

We use metal duct with tight joints and an internal protective layer that prevents moisture and dust entry, maintaining the required air quality and temperature.

My hospital is being upgraded, how do you handle interim drawings?

We work from interim drawings and visit the site to verify final measurements. If changes occur, we fabricate additional duct easily without delaying the project.
