When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

What sets this district apart

Al Masarrah is an expanding mixed commercial and residential district with varied outlets from small supermarkets to restaurants and bakeries, all relying on fridges for stock preservation. High heat in the area and coastal humidity strain cooling efficiency, and dust build-up on fridge condensers is routine. Regular maintenance and quick repair of faults cut stock losses and unexpected downtime.

Al Masarrah lies in south Jeddah, a fast-growing mixed commercial and residential zone with diverse shops and restaurants.

Shops and restaurants here mostly use medium-sized display fridges and simple storage units, without central cooling systems.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

My restaurant fridge suddenly lost cooling, how long does repair take?

Time depends on the fault. Simple issues like condenser cleaning can be fixed in an hour. Larger faults take longer, and we explain when we inspect.

My shop is small and the fridge is large, can you service it in a tight space?

Yes, we service shops of all sizes in Al Masarrah. If we need extra space, we arrange to move the unit outside working hours.

Heat is very high in this area, does it affect fridge performance?

Yes, high heat makes the fridge work harder. Cleaning the condenser and ensuring airflow around the unit helps maintain efficiency.

The fridge door does not seal tightly and warm air leaks in, what is the fix?

The rubber door gasket may be worn or dirty. We clean it first, and if that does not help we replace it with a new one.
