When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Al Muzaira'ah is a transitional district between residential blocks and farms or agricultural storage, with lower building density than the main northern districts. Fridges here experience seasonal swings: intense cooling pressure during harvest season, lighter load at other times. The air is less polluted than dense urban areas, but dust from adjoining farmland enters ventilation grilles faster than elsewhere. Larger spacing makes outdoor-unit access and comprehensive maintenance easier.

Al Muzaira'ah is a transitional northern district mixing residences, farms and agricultural storage with lower building density and higher exposure to farm dust.

Fridges here mix small retail units with larger agricultural-warehouse units, many directly exposed to outdoor air and dust.

The AC setup in Al Muzaira'ah

  1. 1

Small fridge in produce and fruit shop

Small produce shops use compact separate units for items requiring cold storage, especially dairy and juices.

  2. 2

    Large fridge in agricultural warehouse

Agricultural warehouses have large high-capacity units for storing crops and fresh produce throughout the season.

  3. 3

Outdoor unit exposed to open air

Most outdoor units here are directly exposed to wind and farm dust, requiring extra protection and frequent cleaning.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Muzaira'ah

  1. 1

Inspect outdoor unit before peak season

Before peak season begins, clear any dust or leaves stuck to the outdoor unit to ensure ready access.

  2. 2

Schedule the visit to match shop workload

Choose a time between sales surges, especially in seasonal peaks when both the fridge and staff are under pressure.

  3. 3

    Share seasonal usage patterns

Tell the team if certain seasons see heavy use, helping them assess cooling demand and suggest maintenance ahead.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

Our produce shop gets busy during harvest season, can the fridge handle the heavy load?

Yes, but seasonal peaks require intensive preparation. We recommend a full inspection before harvest season starts to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Farm dust gets into our fridge more than other shops, is that normal?

Yes, proximity to farmland increases dust buildup in ventilation grilles and the condenser. We advise frequent cleaning every two weeks in summer and spring.

Does the fridge need any special adjustment because the outdoor unit is exposed to direct weather?

Yes, direct exposure to wind and occasional rain requires extra protection for wiring and connections. We advise checking electrical safety and grounding every six months.

The fruit shop next door has a similar outdoor unit; can we share maintenance?

Some adjacent shops share a single outdoor unit. If yours does, we can coordinate one service for both fridges, but clarify cost-sharing in advance.
