When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Al Sharqiyah is a modern neighbourhood mixing tall residential buildings with shops, restaurants and cafés on lower floors. The district has good spacing between buildings and wider streets than older areas, but heat is intense and humidity is high, putting severe pressure on cooling systems. Shop and restaurant display fridges need regular servicing because grease, dust and mould accumulate fast in this hot, humid climate.

Al Sharqiyah is a modern north-east neighbourhood marked by tall buildings and a mid-range concentration of shops and restaurants.

Most Al Sharqiyah shops and restaurants use modern display fridges, some with energy-efficient tech, with outdoor units on roofs or upper building walls.

The AC setup in Al Sharqiyah

  1. 1

Modern display fridges with energy-saving tech

Many Al Sharqiyah shops and restaurants use modern fridges with electronic motors and smart temperature sensors, requiring specialist service knowledge.

  2. 2

Traditional display fridges in smaller outlets

Some smaller outlets use older display fridge models, but they run under heavy load in this hot, humid climate.

  3. 3

Outdoor units high on building walls

Outdoor units in Al Sharqiyah are often mounted high on modern building walls, away from ground level but exposed to intense heat all day.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sharqiyah

  1. 1

Confirm safe access to the outdoor unit

The unit is mounted high on the wall; ensure the team can safely reach it using a ladder, rope or specialist equipment if needed.

  2. 2

Clear adequate space inside the shop or restaurant

Remove goods, boxes and furniture around the fridge to give the team enough room to inspect all parts, the condenser and pipes.

  3. 3

Book at a time away from busy trading hours

Choose a quieter time if possible, as fridge servicing may take a while and you may need to take it offline partially during the work.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

Our shop fridge is new with high efficiency, does it still need servicing like older ones?

Yes, even high-efficiency units need regular servicing. Modern condensers get dirty fast from cooking grease and dust, and sophisticated motors demand precision repair.

Heat and humidity here are very high, do they shorten the fridge's life?

Yes, hot humid climates accelerate rust, mould and wear. Cleaning the condenser monthly and drying the drain pan are essential to extend life.

Are new fridges more economical in power?

Yes, but only if they are clean and properly maintained. A dirty condenser makes the motor work longer and harder, increasing power use. Regular servicing keeps them efficient and economical.

Some parts of modern fridges are tricky to repair, do you have the skill?

Yes, our team is experienced with modern fridge service and repair. We inspect electronic motors, sensors and valves carefully and only replace parts if truly needed.
