When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Al Asalah is a relatively modern residential district of villas and mid-rise apartment blocks with good outdoor space. Streets are regular and entrances clear, but villas often need longer copper runs, and the high outdoor heat demands careful placement of the outdoor unit to avoid weak cooling. Positioning the unit away from direct sun and rising heat from the villa walls noticeably improves cooling performance.

Al Asalah lies in north Jeddah, a modern residential district of villas and apartment blocks with regular urban layout.

Most villas and apartment blocks here need a separate split per room or unit, with outdoor units typically placed in the garden or on the roof.

The AC setup in Al Asalah

  1. 1

    Separate split per main room

Villas and blocks here typically need one split in the living area and another in main bedrooms, depending on room size and use.

  2. 2

Outdoor unit in garden or roof

Ample outdoor space allows the outdoor unit to sit in a convenient location away from living and bedroom windows.

  3. 3

Long insulated copper runs per villa layout

Distances from outdoor to indoor unit may be 10 metres or more in a large villa, requiring high-grade insulated copper protection.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Asalah

  1. 1

    Finalise the outdoor unit location

Before the visit, confirm the ideal spot for the outdoor unit away from direct sun, vents and windows.

  2. 2

Ensure team access to garden or roof

Confirm the route from the entrance to garden or roof is safe and accessible, and tell us of any obstacles or stairs.

  3. 3

    Arrange a nearby parking space

Al Asalah villas and blocks have clear entrances, but arrange safe parking near the entrance for the team vehicle and equipment.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Is split installation different in a villa versus an apartment block?

Yes, villas usually need longer copper runs and better ductwork planning because of larger spaces, and the outdoor unit on a roof or garden needs protection from intense heat exposure.

The heat in the villa garden is intense, does this affect the split's cooling?

Yes, high heat around the outdoor unit reduces its efficiency, so we choose a spot shaded from direct sun and away from hot villa walls.

How do you handle long copper runs in a large villa?

We use high-grade insulated copper pipes and protect longer runs appropriately so they are not exposed to sun or weather.

Is running power to the outdoor unit from the villa's supply safe?

We verify the villa's electrical circuits can handle the load, then run a dedicated line from the main panel with the right cable gauge to protect both the unit and the building.
