Split AC installation in Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah

In Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah, south Jeddah, split AC installation must account for densely packed residential blocks and parallel streets set close together. We mount both units precisely and route copper and drain carefully so they do not obstruct windows or mar facades on the closely built homes.

  • Mueller copper
  • Full vacuum
  • Proper drain

When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah is a dense residential district with multi-storey apartment blocks and medium-sized villas on narrow parallel streets. Buildings here are older than Al Bawadi and need careful study of outdoor unit placement because facades are limited and windows sit close together. Copper runs must be routed cautiously to avoid internal moisture and leaks, especially if the outdoor unit sits in shared space or a small balcony.

Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah sits in south Jeddah, a dense residential zone of mid-rise apartment blocks and villas on narrow parallel streets.

Most outdoor units here are placed on small balconies or side roofs because front facades are tight and space is shared between flats.

The AC setup in Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah

  1. 1

Split unit on small balcony or side roof

Most flats in Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah lack a spacious front balcony, so we choose a side position or a small safe roof section.

  2. 2

Short to medium copper run in the flats

Distance from outdoor to indoor unit is often short or medium due to limited flat size.

  3. 3

Split on exterior wall of villas

Villas in the district may allow outdoor unit mounting on a wider exterior wall instead of a balcony.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My flat is small with a limited balcony, where will you place the outdoor unit?

We explore options with you before installation, either on the small balcony, a side roof, or an exterior wall if the building allows it.

The streets are very narrow, how do you bring installation equipment and units?

We agree on the closest parking point, and the team carries units and tools by hand from the vehicle to your home.

Humidity is high in the south, does it affect the copper pipes?

Yes, high humidity speeds external oxidation of copper, so we use thick thermal insulation and additional protection on all pipes.

Does drainage need special care in these packed flats?

We install the drain line on a clear, precise slope to prevent pooling, and ensure water does not leak onto neighbouring flat walls.
