When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Old Airport is a central mixed-use district combining diverse residential buildings (villas and apartments) with commercial spaces, with variable outdoor areas. Some owners have reasonable roof or balcony space, whilst others, especially shopkeepers, must place outdoor units in tight spots on walls or narrow facades. Installation may need coordination with neighbouring shop owners or building management.
Old Airport is in central Jeddah, a mixed district of residential and commercial buildings with variable outdoor spaces.
Old Airport installations need varied copper runs (3 to 8 metres), with outdoor units placed on villa roofs, shop walls or apartment balconies.
The AC setup in Old Airport
- 1
Split units on protected villa and apartment roofs
Villas and apartments at Old Airport have flat roofs adequate for mounting the outdoor unit in a wind-protected location.
- 2
Outdoor units on commercial shop walls
Commercial shops typically use side or rear walls for the outdoor unit when roof space is unavailable.
- 3
Varied copper runs with moisture and dust protection
The mixed-use location at Old Airport requires copper runs of 3 to 8 metres with strong insulation against moisture and dust from the commercial surroundings.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
My home is attached to a commercial shop, can you safely install a split?
Yes, but we need to coordinate with the shop owner to prevent dripping on the shop facade, with drainage carefully routed to a safe location.
The only space for the outdoor unit is a narrow wall facing the street, is that safe?
We assess the location first for safety and stability, and if it is secure we mount the unit with strong brackets and extra acoustic insulation if possible.
Old Airport has traffic noise and busy passages, does that affect the unit?
Surrounding noise does not affect the unit's operation, but the outdoor unit may generate noise, so we use extra acoustic insulation if it is near the street or neighbour's windows.
The shop has no private roof and the shared balcony serves multiple shops, how do you install the unit?
We mount the unit on the shop's side or rear wall with strong brackets, or find another safe location after coordinating with the shop owner and neighbouring businesses.
