Precision-made ductwork
AC duct manufacturing in Al Dahiyah
In Al Dahiyah, south Jeddah, residential and commercial projects increasingly rely on central AC with distributed ducting, yet on-site duct cutting loses considerable cold air. Alrabih manufactures complete ducts in advance in the workshop to precise dimensions, seals every seam with Foster sealant, and delivers them ready for immediate installation.

When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Dahiyah is an expanding residential zone in south Jeddah witnessing growth in small villas, apartment blocks and diverse commercial shops, with most new projects choosing central AC for energy savings. Workshop-made ducts offer tight seals that noticeably reduce cold-air waste, essential in south Jeddah's heat and high humidity that quickly inflates electricity bills.
Al Dahiyah lies in south Jeddah, an expanding residential zone of new villas, apartment blocks and diverse commercial shops.
Most residential projects in Al Dahiyah use one air-handler unit with parallel branch ducts, typically two or three lines depending on building size.
The AC setup in Al Dahiyah
- 1
Parallel ducts from one or two handlers
Residential projects in Al Dahiyah use one or two air handlers with parallel branch ducts distributing cool air across floors and rooms.
- 2
Round ducts in tight voids
New villas in Al Dahiyah may need smaller round ducts to fit limited ceiling voids between beams.
- 3
Acoustic-lined ducts for apartment blocks
Apartment blocks may request acoustic-lined ducts to reduce airflow noise between adjacent flats and units.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Al Dahiyah has fast building and tight project schedules; can you meet deadlines?
Yes, we request specifications and drawings early and begin production in parallel with construction to ensure ducts arrive on schedule.
Al Dahiyah is relatively new; do the streets allow large transport vehicles?
Al Dahiyah was planned with reasonably wide streets, so large transport vehicles can access most sites; any exceptions we handle case-by-case.
Al Dahiyah is coastal with high humidity; does this affect duct durability?
We use materials rated for humidity resistance, and full insulation protects ducts from condensation and corrosion caused by high coastal salt and moisture.
Ducts may develop small leaks after transport and installation; how do you maintain seal integrity?
All ducts leave the workshop sealed with Foster sealant on every joint, and the installation team inspects and seals any developing gaps during installation.
