When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Marwah is a dense residential and commercial district in central Jeddah, with medium-rise residential towers and mixed-use commercial buildings. Most buildings here are designed for central AC serving multiple residential or commercial units from one source, with ducts running through shared ceilings and internal corridors. Precision duct manufacturing in our workshop ensures even distribution without leaky gaps, which is critical in Jeddah's hot, humid climate where gaps cause moisture and mould to build up.

Al Marwah sits in Jeddah's central sector, a dense area of residential towers and mixed-use commercial buildings.

Most residential and commercial buildings here use a unified central AC system, with distribution ducts serving multiple units from one large unit.

The AC setup in Al Marwah

  1. 1

Central ducts for multi-unit residential towers

Residential towers in Al Marwah need unified ducts distributing from one central unit to multiple flats, which we manufacture with separation points as needed.

  2. 2

Ducts for mixed-use commercial building AC systems

Mixed-use commercial buildings use complex central systems, and we manufacture ducts in separate sections for each zone.

  3. 3

Insulated ducts for the hot, humid coastal climate

Central Jeddah's high humidity requires complete insulation and strong sealing at every joint to prevent condensation and mould inside the ducts.

Before the visit

Get precise architectural plans of the building

Send us the building's full plans showing shared ceilings, corridors and connection points to different rooms and units.

  2. 2

Coordinate installation timing with the building management

If the building is occupied or commercially active, coordinate with management to choose installation times that don't disrupt residents and tenants.

  3. 3

Specify team access and exit points

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Are workshop-made ducts better than cutting them on site?

Yes, far better. On-site cutting leaves gaps and rough edges causing air leaks and moisture buildup, while our workshop ducts are sealed tight and gap-free.

Residential towers here may share air channels, how do you handle those?

We coordinate with you and the building management beforehand to identify separation and connection points between ducts, and manufacture them to fit the shared cavities exactly.

Does foam insulation withstand central Jeddah's humidity long term?

Yes, we use high-density foam fully sealed to resist moisture and mould, and every joint is Foster-sealed to prevent humid air leaking from outside.

How long does it take to manufacture and deliver project ducts?

We need precise dimensions and drawings first, then manufacture and deliver the ducts ready to install, but timing depends on project size and complexity.
