When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Nuzlah Al Yamaniyah is a relatively new district in south Jeddah where modern residential buildings and large commercial complexes have expanded rapidly. Buildings here are generally newer than central Jeddah, with wider spaces and modern architectural designs that support efficient central AC. Workshop-made ducts provide regular, gap-free distribution, essential because newer buildings often demand greater precision in design and installation. Jeddah's coastal humidity makes complete insulation and strong sealing even more critical.
Al Nuzlah Al Yamaniyah sits in Jeddah's southern sector, a modern area of residential buildings and large commercial complexes.
Most modern buildings here are fitted with central AC systems, and distribution ducts run through suspended ceilings and relatively wide passages.
The AC setup in Al Nuzlah Al Yamaniyah
- 1
Unified central ducts for modern residential buildings
Modern residential buildings in Al Nuzlah need large unified ducts distributing from one central unit, which we manufacture as complex, high-precision sections.
- 2
Distribution ducts for large commercial complexes
Large commercial complexes need dual or triple-unit systems, and we manufacture separate numbered ducts for each different zone.
- 3
Complete insulation and sealing for hot, humid coastal climate
South Jeddah's high heat and humidity demand advanced insulation and very tight sealing at every joint to protect ducts long term.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Nuzlah Al Yamaniyah
- 1
Get complete and detailed engineering plans
Send us the full plans showing duct routing, suspended ceilings and the points where they connect to the central unit and different zones.
- 2
Agree production and delivery schedule with the team
Large commercial projects need advance planning, so coordinate with us to receive ducts at the right time before installation phase.
- 3
Ensure safe storage space is available on site
Manufactured ducts need safe storage protected from dust and moisture before installation, so let us know where the different sections will be kept.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Modern buildings here may need complex ducts, how do you handle them?
We work with the engineer and contractor to understand the full design, and manufacture ducts in coordinated sections that match the building's engineering plan exactly.
Passages and ceilings in new buildings here are wide, does this help?
Very much so, wider spaces allow larger, more efficient ducts and more routing and mounting options.
High heat and coastal humidity affect manufactured ducts?
Yes, so we use thick foam insulation and tight Foster sealing at every joint to prevent moisture and mould accumulation even in Jeddah's harshest climate conditions.
How do you handle supply and return ducts in one central system?
We manufacture supply and return ducts separately and coordinated, so return air flows back to the unit efficiently without mixing or leaking between them.
