When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Madain Al Fahd is a modern district of spacious villas on large plots with wide distances between rooms and zones, requiring very long ducts to distribute cold air evenly. Central systems here need supply and return ducts that may run tens of metres across the villa, and hand-cutting these on site causes significant cold loss and many leaks. Manufacturing complete ducts in the workshop with strong insulation and Foster sealing on every joint ensures reliable cool distribution across the entire villa.
Madain Al Fahd lies in south Jeddah, a district of spacious modern villas with large gaps between units and open plots.
Most villas here exceed 500 square metres of interior space, and ducts need very long runs to cover all rooms and zones.
The AC setup in Madain Al Fahd
- 1
Very long ducts with heavy insulation
Spacious villas need supply ducts that may run 30 metres or more, insulated with 50mm thickness or greater.
- 2
Large-diameter return ducts
Return ducts need large diameter to lower air speed and noise, manufactured complete in the workshop to precise sizing.
- 3
Insulated main plenum in the upper cavity
Modern villas have spacious upper cavities where the main plenum sits fully insulated to reduce noise and heat loss.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Madain Al Fahd
- 1
Send the complete architectural plan
Send the architectural or mechanical plan from the engineer so we can pinpoint duct routes precisely before manufacturing starts.
- 2
Confirm the main unit and plenum location
Tell us the main unit and plenum location, whether in the upper cavity or equipment room, so we manufacture ducts with correct lengths.
- 3
Check the cavity heights and ceiling clearances
Measure the height between suspended ceilings and the concrete structure to confirm insulation thickness will fit before installation.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
The villa is very spacious, how do you distribute cool air evenly across all rooms?
We manufacture long supply ducts with measured distribution openings in each villa zone per the engineer's plan, with pressure balancing to ensure even flow.
The distances are very long, is there a lot of cold loss in long ducts?
We insulate the ducts with very heavy insulation thickness and seal every joint with Foster sealant to prevent air leaks and heat loss over long runs.
Heat in south Jeddah is very high, is extra insulation necessary?
Yes, the high temperatures and humidity in south Jeddah increase cold loss from ducts, so we use heavy additional insulation on all ducts here.
The villa is under construction, how do we confirm the duct routes are correct?
Send us the architectural plan or a photo of the ceiling sections and cavities, and we identify the exact routes and manufacture the ducts accordingly.
