When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Prince Fawaz North is rapidly developing with large residential complexes and modern villas on spacious plots, with many new projects choosing central AC to cover large open spaces. Site-cut ducts cannot handle high flow loads and leak cold air, especially in Jeddah's humid heat, but precision-made, fully sealed and insulated ducts maintain pressure and efficiency across long runs.

Prince Fawaz North lies in south Jeddah, a rapidly expanding area with large residential complexes and modern villas.

Large modern projects in Prince Fawaz North need extensive duct networks with large diameters to cover vast open spaces.

The AC setup in Prince Fawaz North

  1. 1

Expanded duct network with large diameters

Large residential complexes and spacious villas in Prince Fawaz North need ducts with bigger diameters and multiple branches to cover large areas with uniform airflow.

  2. 2

Robust distribution plenum with control dampers

Extended duct networks need a substantial central plenum to balance pressure and distribute air evenly, with dampers on each branch.

  3. 3

Heavy-gauge sealed sections easy to transport and install

Large, long ducts are made in numbered, heavy-gauge sections reinforced at connection points for sealing and insulation without efficiency loss.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Prince Fawaz North

  1. 1

    Send complete project drawings

Engineering drawings must show the large spaces, multiple branches, expected duct diameters and distances from the central unit.

  2. 2

Schedule the site visit with the contractor

Large projects need precise coordination with the contractor to schedule the visit when ceilings and chases are ready for measurement.

  3. 3

Confirm access for large duct sections

Large, long duct sections need wide passages and doorways to reach the site and ceilings, confirm access is adequate before manufacture.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Our project is very large, can manufactured ducts handle high pressure and flow?

Yes. Ducts made from standard materials with calculated diameters handle high flow pressure efficiently, unlike site-cut ducts that may collapse or leak under stress.

Distances are long from the central unit to remote rooms, does this affect system performance?

Long runs need ducts made to correct diameters and sealed tightly to reduce pressure drop, with full insulation to stop condensation on the surface from outdoor heat.

Our villa has open-plan design, how do you distribute cold air fairly throughout?

We design a distribution plenum with multiple branches and separate control dampers, so each zone or room gets calibrated airflow according to its area and needs.

Dust and sand in the area may enter the ducts, does insulation protect against it?

Insulation protects ducts from exterior heat and humidity, but dust protection starts with strong filters on the AC unit itself and no open ends left on ducts before installation.
