When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Sha'na is a mid-range district mixing detached villas and medium-sized apartment blocks with some small commercial projects, needing central AC with moderately long ducts. On-site cutting causes cold-air loss and humidity buildup, especially in transitional areas between indoor and outdoor spaces, but pre-made ducts with insulation preserve cold-air efficiency and extend unit life.
Sha'na lies in east Jeddah, a mid-range district with villas, medium apartment blocks and small commercial projects.
Most villas and medium blocks in Sha'na use central AC with a main trunk and short branches distributed across ground and upper floors.
The AC setup in Sha'na
- 1
Relatively short main ducts with distributed branches
Villas and medium blocks in Sha'na need short main ducts from the unit with branches split across floors and rooms.
- 2
Standard insulation to protect cold air in coastal climate
Ducts are insulated to standard thickness to maintain cold-air quality during distribution and resist the coastal area's humidity.
- 3
Numbered sections ready for prompt installation
Ducts arrive numbered and sealed ready for installation, speeding up work and reducing timeline delays.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
How long does it take to fabricate custom ducts for a Sha'na project?
After receiving your accurate drawings, we fabricate, seal and insulate the ducts in the workshop, delivering them on a schedule we agree based on project size.
Do custom-made ducts reduce electricity bills?
Insulated sealed ducts cut cold-air loss in corridors and unconditioned spaces, so your system runs more efficiently and electricity use drops.
Do insulated ducts handle Sha'na's coastal humidity?
Thick insulation and Foster sealing protect ducts from moisture condensing on inner and outer surfaces, keeping distributed air clean.
Can made ducts be moved or modified after installation?
Ducts are made to your original project specifications, and moving or modifying them may require new sections or adjustments affecting efficiency, so planning ahead is important.
