When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Thuwal is expanding rapidly with new residential and hospitality projects, and the buildings here are relatively modern on open plots, making central AC ducting feasible and efficient. Ductwork cut on site with a knife leaves gaps that bleed cold air and creates moisture hotspots in Jeddah's humid heat, whereas factory-made ducts ensure perfect fit and airtight insulation. The large projects here need precise coordination between workshop and site to deliver sections in the right sequence.

Thuwal sits at Jeddah's far north, known for new residential and hotel projects on open land.

Most central systems in Thuwal need ducts insulated to at least 50 mm gauge to maintain temperature difference over long runs.

The AC setup in Thuwal

  1. 1

Insulated central ducts for large systems

Thuwal's expansive projects require long, fully insulated ducts for even distribution and high efficiency across the entire building.

  2. 2

    Plenums and distribution chambers

Large hotel and residential projects need insulated plenums to collect air from the central unit before routing it to branch runs.

  3. 3

    Numbered sections with identification labels

Each section is manufactured and numbered in the workshop to match exactly with site drawings during installation.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Thuwal

  1. 1

    Send complete project drawings

We need accurate drawings showing duct routes, dimensions and heights to ensure perfect fit in the workshop.

  2. 2

    Confirm delivery date and quantities

Discuss total quantities and first delivery date with the project team so we can schedule workshop production.

  3. 3

Reserve temporary storage space on site

Manufactured ducts need a dry, sheltered storage area until installation, especially in Thuwal's moist climate.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Can you manufacture ductwork for a large hotel project in Thuwal?

Yes, we manufacture large duct volumes to your project drawings, numbering each section so it fits together on site without delay.

Long runs from the central unit to rooms lose temperature, how do you solve that?

Full insulation at the right thickness preserves temperature throughout the run, and factory-made ducts eliminate the air leaks that cut on site would cause.

Thuwal's intense heat and moisture from the north, do they damage ductwork?

Full insulation and Foster sealing on every joint prevents moisture buildup inside the ducts and protects against corrosion over time.

Workshop access and on-site delivery for large projects, how is this coordinated?

We confirm the manufacturing and delivery schedule with the project manager in advance, ensuring each section arrives when needed.
