Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Muraykh is a mixed residential district with villas on large plots and apartment blocks, requiring uniform central AC duct runs linking the outdoor unit to internal zones. Fabricated duct delivers precise dimensions and tight joints without field tweaks, cutting time and cost. In Muraykh's hot climate, duct precision means less heat loss and higher energy efficiency.

Muraykh lies in east Jeddah, a mixed residential district of villas and apartment blocks on varied plots.

AC projects in Muraykh combine villas with central systems and apartment blocks with distribution duct, and fabricated duct fits both at the same precision.

The AC setup in Muraykh

  1. 1

Central system for mid to large villas

Villas in Muraykh need a main duct from the yard branching to multiple rooms, and the workshop delivers precise branches and seamless connections.

  2. 2

    Distribution duct for apartment blocks

Apartment blocks need distribution duct from the outdoor unit to separate indoor units, and the workshop fabricates branches and elbows precisely.

  3. 3

Rectangular duct with wrapped thermal insulation

Most projects here use rectangular duct wrapped with insulation to reduce heat loss in the hot climate.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Muraykh

  1. 1

    Send villa or building drawings

Send us accurate drawings of the villa or building before the visit, showing indoor and outdoor unit locations and passage routes.

  2. 2

Identify duct path and potential obstacles

Confirm the planned duct path, ceilings, and existing structures that might obstruct the run, for accurate planning at the workshop.

  3. 3

Provide access to enclosed areas for measurement

If areas where duct will run are enclosed, ensure they can be safely opened before the visit for measurement and inspection.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you work on both apartment and villa duct in Muraykh?

Yes, we fabricate distribution duct for apartment blocks and central duct for villas at the same precision and standards, matched to each project's needs.

Does fabricated duct reduce electricity use compared to on-site cutting?

Yes, leak-free fabricated duct cuts air and heat loss, reducing electricity use to reach the same temperature.

How do you measure large Muraykh projects accurately for duct?

We visit the site and take comprehensive measurements, or receive accurate architectural drawings, then fabricate the duct at the workshop based on that data.

Does dust and heat in Muraykh affect duct quality?

Duct fabricated in the workshop under full control withstands Muraykh's dust and heat, and thermal insulation protects from external temperature.
