When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

What sets this district apart

Al Bahjah is a modern residential and commercial district in the north-east with diverse food shops, local restaurants, cafés and small hotels. The buildings are newer and spread horizontally, making it easy for the team to reach outdoor units. Daily fridge use is intensive, so any stoppage risks stock loss and shop reputation damage. Regular maintenance and routine cleaning are essential for consistent performance.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

My food shop in Al Bahjah, the fridge loses temperature on Friday mornings especially, why?

It could be the door seal is thin from heavy weekly use, or the condenser is clogged with dust. We come and check the gasket, condenser and compressor to pinpoint the fault.

My shop is always busy and the rear area is tight, can you work easily back there?

Yes, we understand the tight spaces and busy times. Agree with us on the best time and give us clear details of access to the outdoor unit. The team will adapt and work efficiently.

It gets very hot in summer, does the outdoor condenser suffer badly from the heat?

Yes, high heat and humidity put significant stress on the condenser and compressor. We recommend cleaning the condenser every two months in summer and regular compressor monitoring.

Power in Al Bahjah is usually stable, but sometimes there are delays connecting supply, does this affect the fridge?

Yes, any power interruption or delay in supply can cause temperature rise and damage electrical components. Ensure the electrical circuit is safe and tell us of any issues.
