When you need a villa HVAC specialist

  1. 1

    A new villa before finishing

The finishing stage is the right time to plan the cooling before walls and ceilings close. We decide the system type for each floor and the pipe routes, saving you from cutting and drilling later.

  2. 2

A large majlis that never feels cool

Large sitting rooms need a different approach from ordinary rooms. Ceiling height, number of openings and sun direction in Jeddah all affect the choice, and the site survey is what decides the right solution.

  3. 3

    Old noisy units disturbing sleep

AC noise in a bedroom breaks sleep and wears on the family. Choosing the right system and placing it correctly gives the room the cooling it needs without sound that disturbs you or the people sleeping near you.

Who it's for

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Full villa survey

Our team visits every floor, studying sun exposure, ceiling heights, room count and how each space is used, before we suggest any system.

  2. 2

A cooling plan floor by floor

We produce a plan that names the system type for each zone, the indoor and outdoor unit positions, and how the work fits around any finishing trades already on site.

  3. 3

    Installation and pipe runs

We install the agreed systems floor by floor, run insulated copper and drain lines, vacuum each line before start-up, and confirm that units near bedrooms run quietly.

  4. 4

    Handover and maintenance contract

We start every unit with you present and check cooling in each room, then offer a preventive and corrective maintenance contract to keep the whole system performing through the summer.

What sets this district apart

Petromin is a modern residential area of detached villas with spacious gardens, where homes are far larger than city-centre flats, with large common areas like majlis and lounge and more bedrooms. That means one unit cannot cool the whole villa evenly, and distributing cold air to each floor and room calls for careful planning and often multiple splits or a central system with professional ductwork. Placing outdoor units on the villa's walls or roof affects both appearance and cooling efficiency.

Petromin, in south Jeddah, is a modern residential area of large detached villas set in spacious gardens.

Most villas in Petromin use multiple split units or a central system with ductwork to cool different floors and rooms separately.

The AC setup in Petromin

  1. 1

    Multi-unit split system

Most Petromin villas use separate split units per floor or zone, allowing independent control of each area's cooling.

  2. 2

    Central system with ductwork

Some larger villas choose a central system with professional ductwork covering all rooms from one or two outdoor units.

  3. 3

Outdoor units mounted on roof or rear

Outdoor units are typically mounted on the roof or rear to keep them away from the main facades and preserve the villa's curb appeal.

FAQ

Questions about Villa & home HVAC

Should I use central AC or a split for each room?

There is no single answer that suits every villa. One floor with rooms close together may suit a concealed central system, while separate floors or spread-out rooms often work better with individual splits. The site survey is what decides the right fit for your space and how you use it.

How do you keep the facade tidy with outdoor units on it?

At the survey we look at every option: the roof, the back or side of the building, and ventilation shafts. We choose a spot that gives the unit enough air and is easy to reach for servicing, without putting outdoor units on the main front or creating noise in the street.

How do Jeddah's dust, humidity and salty sea air affect a home system?

Humid, salty air affects heat exchangers and exposed outdoor units over time, and dust blocks filters faster than in dry climates. We take this into account when placing outdoor units away from direct sea winds, and a preventive maintenance contract catches that build-up before it hurts performance.

Do you handle both installation and maintenance for the whole villa?

Yes, we handle design and installation and then offer a preventive and corrective maintenance contract covering every system in the villa. Having one contractor who knows what was installed makes any later servicing or repair faster and more accurate, and you never have to explain each unit's history to someone new.

How do you decide between a concealed unit and a visible split for a room?

The decision depends on ceiling height, the type of finish and the building stage. A room with a high ceiling and generous floor area may accept a concealed cassette, while a small room with a low ceiling or a fully finished space often suits a visible split. Where the outlet sits also affects how air reaches every corner, and the site survey is what settles the choice.

My villa is large with multiple storeys, do I need one unit or several?

A large multi-storey villa usually needs more than one unit to keep cooling even across all rooms and floors. We visit to measure the spaces, aspect and openings, and recommend the best system for your villa.

Where should I put outdoor units so they don't spoil my villa's look?

We review your villa's design and suggest positions for outdoor units on the back, roof or sides away from the main facades, so the home stays visually unified.

My large majlis is hard to cool evenly, why is that?

Large open majlis areas need either a high-capacity indoor unit or several distributed units, and airflow depends on the indoor unit's position, ceiling height and furniture layout. We assess the space and pick the best solution.

Upstairs bedrooms take longer to cool, is this normal?

Cold air naturally rises and upper roofs get more sun exposure, so upstairs areas may need dedicated units or ductwork to ensure even, quick cooling.
