Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Asalah has modern apartment blocks and spacious villas on open land, unlike the older districts. The buildings here are designed for central runs in ceilings or walls, and need duct with exact dimensions and angles matching the building plan. Workshop fabrication prevents on-site errors and speeds installation during the critical construction phase.

Al Asalah is in north Jeddah, a district of modern apartment buildings and villas with contemporary architectural designs on generous plots.

Most new buildings here use rectangular central duct with suspended ceilings and multiple distribution outlets in the flats and villas.

The AC setup in Al Asalah

  1. 1

Rectangular central duct in suspended ceilings

Most new villas and apartments in Al Asalah use rectangular duct in suspended ceilings with even air distribution across all rooms.

  2. 2

Complex fittings and elbows at exact angles

Varied architectural designs require custom elbows, transitions and takeoffs, and workshop fabrication ensures perfect fit on installation.

  3. 3

Galvanised or aluminium material by location

We select duct material based on site environment and coastal humidity to ensure long service life without corrosion.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Asalah

  1. 1

Obtain the architectural plan or exact measurements

Send us the architectural plan or exact duct run measurements before the visit so we can fabricate pieces accurately in the workshop.

  2. 2

Confirm the fan location and outlets

Confirm the location of the central fan unit and the designated air outlet points in the villas or flats before the visit.

  3. 3

Coordinate with the contractor or site engineer

If the building is under construction, confirm site access and that duct runs are accessible before installation begins.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

How do you handle complex building plans when fabricating the duct?

We take exact measurements from the site or architectural drawing and fabricate each duct piece with complex fittings and angles in the workshop to match the design precisely.

Villas in Al Asalah have varied designs, how do you handle that variety?

Each villa design is unique, so we take custom measurements for each home and fabricate the duct to its specific needs without standard sizing.

Does the fabricated duct fit modern suspended ceiling systems?

Yes, we fabricate the duct to dimensions that fit standard suspended ceiling systems, and we coordinate it with the ceiling design before fabrication.

How does coastal humidity affect your choice of duct material here?

We use G90 galvanized or aluminium duct in coastal areas for rust resistance, depending on the design requirements and the surrounding environment.
