When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?

| Condensate | Dedicated line away from stock | Risk of drips on shelves |
| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Al Shurooq is an eastern district experiencing rapid commercial growth with relatively new malls and varied shops on orderly streets, most equipped with modern AC systems, either central or integrated units depending on design. The thermal load is high and fast-changing due to continuous customer flow and open doors, demanding efficient cooling and regular maintenance. The humidity from heavy condensation can affect stock quality, so drainage systems need careful monitoring.
Al Shurooq is in eastern Jeddah, a growing commercial zone with relatively new malls and orderly wide streets.
Most new malls and shops here are fitted with modern central AC systems with ducts distributed across all floors and departments.
The AC setup in Al Shurooq
- 1
Modern central system distributed across multiple floors
Most new malls here are equipped with a modern central cooling unit connected to an advanced duct network that distributes cool air efficiently across all floors and departments.
- 2
Integrated ceiling units in modern shops
Larger modern shops often have efficient integrated ceiling units separate from the central system.
- 3
Air curtains and under-door fans at entrances
Modern malls are fitted with air curtains or under-door fans at main entrances to reduce cold-air loss when doors open.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
Malls and shops in Al Shurooq are relatively new, do their AC systems need frequent maintenance?
Modern systems are more efficient but need regular preventive maintenance, especially filter and evaporator cleaning every two to three months to prevent dirt buildup and maintain performance.
Al Shurooq's streets are wide and malls are modern, is access to AC systems easy?
Yes, the modern layout of the district makes access to outdoor units and mechanical areas typically easy, reducing maintenance time.
Jeddah's heat is intense and malls are packed with customers and bright lighting, does this strain the system?
Yes, the thermal load rises from customer flow, lighting and open doors; we advise seasonal system tuning and regular cleaning to ensure peak performance.
Shop stock is moisture-sensitive, how do you protect drainage systems from failure?
We regularly inspect drainage pipes for blockages, ensure proper pipe angle toward external outlets, and clean filters regularly to prevent dirt buildup that could clog drainage.
